The sample was dissolved in 0.1 per cent aqueous trifluoroacetic acid and separated on a C18 column (4.6 × 250 mm, 5 µm) using a linear acetonitrile gradient with ultraviolet detection at 214 nm. Purity is reported as main-peak area expressed as a percentage of total integrated peak area. Molecular identity was determined separately by electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry in positive mode. Water content was determined by Karl Fischer titration. Analysis was performed by Colmaric Analyticals, an independent third-party laboratory, and this certificate is reproduced unaltered.
